Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click the "Get Started" or "Sign Up" button on our homepage. Enter your name, email, phone number, and create a password. You'll receive an OTP to verify your account.
What is the minimum age requirement?
You must be at least 16 years old to use Workmate4u.
Posting Tasks
How do I post a task?
After logging in, click "Post a Task" or navigate to the task upload section. Fill in the task title, description, category, budget, and location. Click submit to post your task.
How much should I pay for a task?
The minimum task budget is ₹100 and the maximum is ₹40,000. Browse similar tasks in your area to set a fair price. You can also use the optional "Nudge Budget" in the task wizard (+₹10/+₹20/+₹50) to attract Taskers faster.
Can I edit or cancel my task?
Yes, you can edit or cancel tasks that haven't been accepted yet. Once a Tasker accepts, contact them to discuss any changes.
Finding & Completing Tasks
How do I find tasks near me?
Go to "Find Tasks" section. Enable location access or enter your city/area to see nearby tasks. You can filter by category and budget.
How do I get paid?
Once you complete a task and the Task Poster confirms, the payment is processed through Razorpay and transferred to your linked account.
Payments & Service Charges
Is there a service charge on top of my task budget?
A service charge applies only to Delivery & Pick/Drop tasks (delivery, pickup, transport, moving). It is calculated by distance and typically ranges from ₹10 to ₹40. The exact amount is shown clearly in the task wizard before you confirm posting. All other task categories (cleaning, repairs, groceries, tutoring, etc.) have no service charge on top of the budget.
Does Workmate4u charge a posting fee?
No. There is no platform posting fee for Task Posters. You pay only the task budget (plus the distance-based service charge for Delivery/Pick/Drop tasks).
How much does a Tasker actually receive?
When a task is marked complete and the Poster pays, Workmate4u deducts a platform commission before crediting the Tasker's wallet:
- Delivery, Pickup, Transport, Moving — 15% commission deducted
- All other categories (cleaning, repairs, tutoring, groceries, etc.) — 17% commission deducted
The commission is calculated on the total task value (budget + service charge). Taskers can see their estimated net earnings before accepting any task.
What is the Workmate4u wallet?
Every user has an internal wallet. Posters must add funds to their wallet via Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets) before posting a task. The task budget (plus any service charge) is held from the wallet until the task is complete or cancelled. Taskers receive their net earnings in the wallet after commission deduction, and can request a payout to their bank/UPI account.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and popular wallets through Razorpay for wallet top-ups.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, all payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Workmate4u never stores your card or bank details.
How do refunds work?
If a task is cancelled before a Tasker accepts it, the full amount (task budget + any service charge) is refunded to the Poster's wallet instantly. If a task is cancelled after acceptance or fails to be completed, the amount is reviewed case-by-case — the task budget is refunded to the Poster's wallet; the service charge may be retained or refunded at Workmate4u's discretion based on platform usage at that point. Disputes are resolved by the Workmate4u team and our decision is final for the purpose of releasing the held funds.

How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login screen. Enter your email to receive an OTP, then set a new password.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at info@workmate4u.com with your account email. We'll process deletion within 30 days.
